LNER Sports and Social Club - Our History
The site of LNER has been a source of "refreshment" since 1923 when the London North East Region railway (LNER) train drivers and engineers would stop for a cup of tea at what was then, no more than a tin shed!
Over the past 90 years LNER has been home to both a cricket team (who's pavilion once stood on the site of the current children's playground) and is now home to several successful football teams across a range of age groups.
